Bonnie from the Carnegie Library will talk about the programs and opportunities available to members.
February 9 - Valentines Day and Weddings
We will have the small group discussion format. All are encouraged to bring paper and scissors and glue to make valentines while we talk. Also, and more importantly, bring your wedding pictures!
February 16 - Craft Sampler
Are you interested in learning a new craft? Well, some of our members will be demonstrating their hobbies this week, and showing you new ways to be creative! (Our program with Jon Rubin from Conflict Kitchen has been postponed.)
February 23 - Turkey Nationality Day
Our members from Turkey will share information about their country.
Global Links is on February 8th.
Meeting Program
From September to May, all Thursday meetings are held at the First Baptist Church, 159 Bellefield Ave, Pittsburgh from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Don’t forget that there is no meeting, when Pittsburgh Public Schools are closed or do have a delay ( late start) due to bad weather condition! Early in the morning on the TV channel KDKA, on the radio or KDKA school delay you can get the information whether and what schools are closed.

An interactive dance and exercise activity.
January 19 - Larry Glasgow's talk
Larry Glasgow, professor at University of Pittsburgh and old IWAP friend, will talk about black history in Pittsburgh with particular emphasis on August Wilson in the Hill District.
January 26 - Jazzercize with Laurie
Global Links is on January 11th.

IWAP 2011/2012: Our first meeting of this club year is on September 8th!
Our Registration Desk will be open at 9:30 am.

We will see a short DVD and hear how IWAP work before breaking into
small groups to get to know each other better.
September 15th Food Tasting
Grocery shopping can be a challenge when you are unsure of what
certain products taste like. Members will bring in food they made
using packaged products (along with the package). For example, someone
might make Stove Top Stuffing. They will prepare the dish at home,
bring it and the box to the meeting on Thursday and we will all get to
taste it.
September 22nd History of Pittsburgh
Pittsburgh played a major role in the development of the USA over the
centuries. We'll give you a few more historical reasons to brag about
Pittsburgh!
